LOFT FOR A BACHELOR

This loft renovation entailed one key objective: create a space for the owner that could provide endless opportunities for entertaining guests. As such, the loft is set up as a series of entertainment zones which are all clad in chic contemporary finishes and contain furniture that can endure the late night social gatherings.

As featured in BlogTO's condo of the week:

"The spacious corner unit near King and Spadina is an adults playpen, that is, according to the listing agent. Kinky mental picture aside, the realtor isn't kidding around. There's 1,600 square feet of toys---the condo-sized terrace alone fits a four-person hot tub, pool table, heat lamp and lounge area.Located in the Quad Lofts at 19 Brant Street, the almost $1.4 million two bedroom is more of a luxury playground than a typical condo in the city's fashion district. One of the largest suites in the ninestoreybuilding, it's priced for the high-end professional who seeks a trendy boutique space rather than a miniscule unit in a soaring Yorkville high-rise.

The concrete interior has some nice design touches to soften the industrial feel of the condo. The kitchen features a slated wood ceiling that visually separates the cooking area from the rest of the open space and the master has floor-to-ceiling windows and decorative wood pieces to flatter the
blank walls. The centerpiece of the condo is the open fireplace which also houses a built-in flat screen television and finished with a grey slate tile."
